Dr. Xi Yang is an associate professor in the Department of Economics at the University of North Texas since 2016. She was a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California. She received a Ph.D. in economics from Johns Hopkins University in 2014. Her research interests are in the areas of Labor Economics and Urban Economics, focusing on how urban and housing policies affect individual labor market outcomes and wellbeing well as local economic development.
